I bought the clear case and put it all togather and the DVD spins right off the spindle, I'm sure I put it togather right.

Any help would be appreciated

umm, you can't just take off the top of the dvd drive if you want to see the CD, you need to cut a window in it, keeping the center part of the cover intact. That is needed to keep the CD from flying off the spinny thing.

Well it came with a clear plastic piece to go over the disk to (I assume) keep the disk from flying off but it doesnt seem to work.

Has anyone put one of these togather?

oh, didn't know, I would complain to who you bought it from and find out what model drive the cover is meant for. See if you can get a partial refund or exchange the cover for a different cover for your model drive.

Not over there.
Most DVD-Drives I've opened have a bridge over the head to hold the upper spindle, even when the outer shell is off. Just leave that bridge there, if there isn't one, your bummed.

Just a suggestion: As this has nothing to do with Xecuter products, you'll probably find more people who have 1. experienced this and 2. are willing to discuss their experiences if you go over and either search or post to the xbox-scene forums. As popular as the Team Xecuter forums are, we're still largely focused on this one set of products. Especially when the section is explicitly called "Xecuter 3 - General Discussion".

okay first off take that little bridge piece should be clear also just like the case....and then the lid from the dvd-drive take it in the other hand....now u see that black round thing in the lid....peel off the sticker from the outside of the lid and that little black thing will come out...now stick that black thing in the clear bridge looking piece and screw it into place....then your all done....sorry for the horrible descriptions but you should be able to figure it out

you might try ebay, sometimes you can find broken drives. You might be better off buying a new one .Lesson learned.

"Yourmom" is right I have one and it works fine just have to use the "disk stabilizer" out of the old lid. Looks very slick when you get done.
