Any particular reason why my JTAG keeps losing the initial settings?

Hi, what I'm referring to is the initial NXE setup that comes up after the 13604 update. I understand that if I unplug the console it comes up, but now, even left alone it comes up sometimes. I boot into FSD so it shouldn't matter much, but I loose the IP address and time settings every time.

Is there something I need to change in order to address this? Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you have an unstable network connection. Try with a another network cable.

You could of course have a faulty lan connector in your console.

What console do you have? What motherboard?
Its a Zephyr MB; a Halo 3 console.

Its not the cable. For now I'll just keep using 169.254.242.241 [default IP] since it happened again and I'm getting irritated from doing the NXE setup.

I would try getting a clean fsd. Also clear the cache. I had problems with fsd saving info to my hdd. Cleared cache, then reinstalled fsd. All good now.

To clear cache to to memory on nxe dash click y i believe on your hdd.

Do you mean the loss of settings, even when unplugged is not supposed to happen?

I had this problem ages ago with a zepher motherboard and the only way i get round it in the end was to rewire it with the AUD_Clamp wiring

once that was done it booted everytime no problems and kept all of it's settings

Is it just wires that I need, or do I need things like diodes and such?
