Any solution anyone can think of?

Hello all, got an xbox problem and seeking a little help if anyone can help me please i'd be much appreciated...

I have an HDMI xbox which is a nice console that's never really been a problem, the problem is that the GPU gets too hot to handle... When I play a game after 20 mins grahic lines appear then the console freeze's. At right i thought its RROD coming soon! but it wasn't, i replaced the thermal to Arctic silver 5, Its got a nice amount on, but after turning it on and about 10 mins later the CPU is cool, just a little warm, but the GPU is burning Hot, can't touch it, i've worked with alot of xbox's and know the Heat isn't normal and it shouldn't be this hot... I don't know what do because once it gets Red hot the lines appear and freeze comes, Soon has it cools down its fine again but happens again after 10 mins..

Only thing I can think of doing is sticking a Fan on it but can't really do that via the Dvd drive Any one have a good idea on stopping this?

You can do the 12v fan mod to keep it cooler but it could be your gpu on its last leg and may need to be replaced

I've tried the 12v mod, it doesn't have enough power to send enough heat out back, SO i modded a small 12v 40mm fan on the extra small part of the GPU heatsink and it doesn't get hot no more, stats amazingly cool but even cool 10 mins later graphics link appear so looking into something else now, but thanks mate for reply
