Any way to do CR4XL on a Falcon with just RJTAG QSB V3?

So I made a purchase for my 2nd CR4XL chip for this 2nd project (Falcon) and it arrived today. The seller (Modchip Central) stated that it came with the free QSB, upon arrival I see the QSB is much different than the tutorials as it is V3 and that only one QSB was shipped. So by the tutorial I'm trying to make this work so I don't have to wind up buying a kit since the shipping costs me more than the kit does (Otherwise I'd buy the kit with no problems at all!)

Ok, so 5Volt power I can install on any 5vdc point on the board, thats not a problem for me. I'm guessing here that point B on the CR4XL (grey wire) will go to the smd resistor point next to the HANA? The yellow, blue, and white wire are solid. The RJTAG QSB V3 with the AUD_Clamp to the Q2N1 (green wire) is also secure. Anything I'm doing wrong here?

I just pointed out that thread because you were asking where to solder in some of the wires. If you want to ditch the QSB then go for it. This method works just fine but I can't tell you what to do.

Also, it's frowned upon to bump your thread the way you just did. We're not here just to serve noobs and we don't get paid for any of the support we give. ;)

Well, I thank you for your help and did not intentionally mean to bump this thread. I will re-approach this as suggested.

Why? It's not skin off your back if he doesn't want to use it......
I didn't say I didn't want to use it, it just wasn't functioning properly and I was wondering if it was because I didn't have the other two QSB's. It's glitching now but I still need to tune the CR4 because Xell won't load. When I did this to my Trinity I had to use a disc cap to get it to glitch on 3rd try, might this be the case with this Falcon?

I sure hope that John Mathews isn't mad at you anymore. Maybe he should apologize for yelling at you. :p

Meh... I got this same treatment when I hopped into my Cisco IOS stuff, until I got it and started writing fully secure ACL's for the 5505 ASA firewalls that allowed proper tunneling from the CLI config. Its just a different way of doing the same mod for a different console and I can understand if someone is easily annoyed with newb questions that have most likely been answered hundreds of times. For what its worth I did scour the forum for my answer before posting since the only QSB I found information on was the V2 J1D1 QSB.

can't really see your wiring in those pics. Do you have any DIPs on? Try 3 and 7 (both on at the same time).
