Any way to get DemoN to be disabled upon power by default

Hi,

By default, when you apply power the the Xbox, the DemoN is enabled as indicated by the blue LED on the daughterboard. When you toggle the switch to turn the DemoN off, every subsequent boot will boot the Xbox with the stock NAND. However, when you remove power to the Xbox, the DemoN will be enabled again by default until you hit the toggle button. My question is if there is any way to have DemoN default as disabled when power is applied. My family typically the uses the Xbox for Netflix, web, and other apps so having the DemoN disabled would be my ideal 'default' mode.

switch the nands and install a inverter on the enable signal, so when it gets logic 1 it gives 0, and when it gets 0 it gives 1.

Inverter is also known as a not-gate.

Instead of messing around and swapping nand setup too, would a simple SPST switch added to the EN line on the Demon work ok as a manual Demon ON/OFF switch and be electronically safe, OR is there more to it than that? I know it undermines nice slick setup but hey you have to push a buttton anyway so why not throw a switch too! Would also offer a belt and braces approach to a child safe setup.

you could just flash the glitch image to the onboard nand and original image to the demon.
I havnt tried it my self, and lack of sleep, i may be wrong as demon might not power on right but worth a shot?

Most peopel i know prefer the demon nand booting first as they only use xbox live every now and then etc

When the DemoN nand is on, so is the glitch chip. This is the problem. When I find some time, I have some information from Antalpromille for something to try. I have just been so busy with my full time job along with console work for clients. I'll find time soon enough and post my results here when I do.
No worries bud. That's what I was thinking would be the case if you just reversed the images on the nand chips - would you just get a continually flashing green light and bugger the coolrunner and box down the line?

Anysways, maybe there is scope/need here for a J Runner update in the near future to allow users to choose Demon default settings when building images or a Demon firmware option to cater for this.

Sure post your results if you find anything.

I know, I know. But with youngish kids playing it and if I'm not around to keep them right re: hit the reset button to switch to stock. Then they go online to play with friend and BOOM all hell breaks loose! That's the dilemma I have and makes me reluctant to go for dual boot until I can get the right 'default' setup that suits my particular needs.
