I've had my Coolrunner for about a week now, everytime i've booted (and paid attention) the green light has only come on once and booted perfectly each and every time. I can't think of anytime the Coolrunner has taken more than one try to glitch. I've read elsewhere that other products take anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes to boot up, but my Xecuter Coolrunner does the job perfectly everytime.

Very happy I decided to wait it out. Team Xecuter, you guys know how to make a damn good product.

90% of the consoles i`ve done (over 30 now with various chips) do that ..lol .

It`s only the odd few that dont mate and thats usually down to user error or poxy zephyrs or bb jaspers

I've done 3 falcons now with the TX coolrunner and each one boots in 5-6 seconds each time.

The eBay coolrunner I installed before the coolrunner took anywhere from 30 seconds upwards.

Falcon has booted first time every time so far. Zephyr won't boot to xell

Edit: Moved CPU_RST on the zephyr so it hooks around the x clamp mount closest to where it attaches to the board and got it to xell after a few minutes of trying

Hi all,

I received yesterday my nand-x and stuff for the RGH hack...
Installed everything, boot in to Xell and grap that cpukey and dvdkey.
So on, so on...

Boots within 4 a 7 sec everytime again.

Mine is a Jasper 16mb

Thnx to the people who make this happen and and specially TX for their great stuff they make ;)

Falcons seem to boot instantly, Slims are quick *under 10 sec* but i still think with a little more refinement it can also be instant.

We could try the following:

  • Better shielded wiring?
  • Running wire above vs under board to avoid interference?
  • Different caps? *although 270pf seems to be the sweet spot for slims*
Maybe in the near future we may get even more refined timings for each console.
