I have used the site quite a bit and haven't been burned yet. However I have not used that supplier on there. Shipping is a bit steep and slow but the stuff is coming from China so to be expected. If its a new supplier I usually order small at first to test the quality, unless somone has experience with them.

On the pictures you can see that the drives are actually DG-16D2S drives. So, fake.
Where did he argue? Besides the first post, he didn't write anything in this thread yet. Is this a follow-up from another thread?
how are these fake? they say right on them that they are 9504s.
slim drives are DG-16D4S drives....there are 2 different versions of them tho, 0225 and 9504[FONT="]

because people have already purchased and found them to be fake. what more proof do you want. i could find a pic of a 9504 and say ive got 1000 for sale, pics mean nothing.
ok, that was the answer I was looking for......the other poster just continued to say "fake" without stating WHY they were fake aside from that they are DG-16D4S which is what they were suppose to be.
I couldn't honestly care less because I'm not interested in messing with my slim since it is my legit box....I just figured I would try getting a definitive answer as to why everyone just screamed FAKE but didn't say why!

Most of the true 9504 drives out of china are gone.
I tried to order another 200pcs from my regular supplier who I've been using for the last 3 year and would trust with my right nut. He has come back to me and said the only ones currently available are the fat liteon drives hacked up to fit into the slim. No solid eta of new drives either.
Proceed with caution when buying from alibaba, there is little chance of getting your money back if things go awry (get a shipping quote for sending the drive back to china - totally not worth it).
might be worth a punt but buyer be ware, I usually tell people to avoid alibaba it's like the wild wild west of eBay.

Ok, take a look at the back of your slim drive.
Now take a look at the picture on alibaba where you can see the back of the drive.
See a difference?
Now look at the back of a DG-16D2S drive.
Fake.
I didn't experience with the site you mentioned. All websites are look like legitimate .So it is hard to tell whether it is legit or scam. If you are not sure or have any doubts whether the website can be trusted then exit from the site and take your time to investigate further into the website .To check a site is legit or scam you and rating about the site by the Google search. To check the website is secure use the site Webutation.net you will get more information about the website. Get the "whois" information from WhoisXY.com to know the administrative contact, technical contact etc.
