Ofcourse - plenty have. Recommended to update to 7371 before proceeding!
But yes, should be exploitable unless messed with by MS

If its your first time soldering be very careful and use a 15W iron. I really messed mine up the first time, just don't keep the soldering iron on the board too long or you'll burn the pads off.

thanks for the advice. already distroyed the jtag board lol. so looks like a wire install for now till i get me some new boards.

why update to 7371 before proceeding? is 7371 kernel not a bit dodgy? really dont want to update just incase something goes wrong.

Some users dont update without problems.
7371 is fine as long as your motherboard version isn't post june 2009, these will still be vulnerable.
