I'm using the X2 5035 bios on a v1.0 xbox.

looks like it is fine and I can access all the drives BUT when I try to write (create folder, etc) on drive F it fails with "450 Internal error creating the directory"

I'm running XBMC while trying it. I know the XBMC works fine becasue I cloned it from my other XBOX which is perfectly fine.

Any ideas?

updated post....

I'm using the X2 5035 (tried older versions too - same results) bios on a v1.0 xbox.

Looks like it is fine and I can access all the drives via FlashFXP and Filezilla.

BUT when I try to write (create folder, etc) on drive F it fails with "450 Internal error creating the directory" using FLashFXP, other errors using FileZilla and DOS but the same results... cannot write to F.

The drive shows 123.77GB free (250GB drive).

I've tried Avalaunch & XBMC for FTP. I know they work fine becasue I cloned the softwaret directly from my other XBOX which is perfectly fine. And I actually did an XBOX to XBOX copy of the E drive and it was fine... so somethig is up with the F drive access.

I formated the F drive 4 times in SmartXX OS... does the OS F drive format work properly?
Any ideas?

It seems that the tools to modify the X2 BIOS were buggy... i.e. Did not work at all!

they must be sharing code with the SmartXX OS!!!

hehehe could not help it.

so for anyone else having this issue manke sure you use...
x2 Config Maker .NET v0.5.4 for 'x2 5035 ONLY'

the others do not work.
