My buddy just brought me his phat cause he tried to flash it with lt and had no luck. Ive never messed with these old pos hitachi drives so asking for a little help. It seems the drive is stuck in modeb. As soon as i hook it up it is reconized as a windows drive. So i power cycled a couple times with no luck. I reflashed it with no luck. Ive restored it to stock with no luck. Its like it kicks out of modeb cause the log says no hitachi drive found when i cycle but comes right back. Have to press eject twice to open in close (jungleflasher says thats when its in mode b). Thanks!

1. Windows 7 x64
2. XUSBPRO with latest fw.
3. ck3 pro to power the drive.

The log you have looks fine to me. It doesn't work in the xbox after you flashed it above?

Out of curosity what processor do you have in pc? No relavance to your problem just saw 8x64 processors and was wondering.

As soon as you plug it into the pc it is reconized a drive letter in windows. Also i read when its in modeb you have to press eject twice to open the tray and twice to close it..thats what is happening..

Have you tried flashing it back to stock and power cycling?

EDIT: seeing the log, you've already tried this.

What are you using to power the drive?

EDIT2: Ck3 pro.

what colour light is on your CK3 Pro?

I finally got it out of him. He plugged the power cable upside down. What you recommend I replace it with. I don't see any 47 for sale.

Red = modeB on. The pro is putting the drive into ModeB.

Press the modeB button so it's blue.

I'm assuming by all this, the console actually accepts the drive ok?
