Anyway to increase Emunand storage?

Instead of 32GB of Emu-storage, can we just increase the size we want the Emunand to be based on the SD card?
I want to use my 256GB sd card and I want at least 250GB to be Emu-storage and the other 6GB extra for my files.

I feel like people have posted that you can expand it now when creating, but I have not tried this myself.

You cant expand when creating sadly. That's what I would like. I've tried to use tools to modify the partition size, nothing

I guess it doesn't support bigger size nands. I can't remember who posted about expanding when creating, but I guess that is not an option.

Is there a way to suggest a feature to be added to TX? My SD gets corrupted even on Fat32. I'm now only using my 128gb that is working perfectly fine

Why the need for such a large emunand? You can always mount xci and/or install nsp outside of the emunand partition.

XCI loading is slow. I want a larger emunand as an alternative nand swap. I'll have all my nsp running at full speed without worrying about any of my games being randomly corrupted. I just don't wanna purchase SX OS again after swapping the emmc

Edit: inside the emunand partition, nsp will never corrupt regardless what sd card brand it is

Do you mean actually playing the games is slow or loading the games in the album or SX installer?

FYI, corruption is from exFAT not SD card brand unless you are using a fake one. Having emunand the full size of the SD will not fix issues with fake SD cards.

Both loading game and loading games from album are slow. That's why I prefer nsp. Faster than XCI by a huge number. Corruption also effects on Fat32. My SD cards aren't fake. Having a lot more emunand space will be exactly like having a huge nand

I would just upgrade your internal nand then. They are out there. You will just need a new SX license. Plenty of users are using emunand and just installing games on the SD without issues. I would say something else is causing the slowness. End of the day it's still going to be reading from your SD so it's still going to be limited to what the SD reader speed regardless of the filesystem.

fat32 on the Switch has almost no corruption. It's obviously not immune to it, but exFAT will give you corruption with homebrew especially, way faster than fat32 will. If you are going to look at it in the way that fat32 has just as much corruption than you would be expecting any type of file system to have high corruption then. exFAT has an issue because the driver for exFAT used by Nintendo is not the greatest.

Been running fat32 for a year now with no issues. NSP, XCI and emulation.

Also wasn't saying you were using fake cards. Was just a general statement.

No reason should I go buy another SX OS crap when I already own one. Badly enough I have 3 switches running SXOS with their own license. That sh*t can kiss my ass if I have to go buy another license. If it was on sale for $10, sure. All I want is this feature to go to TX so they can make it happen. They seem to surprise us everytime (sometimes). Just tell them this request. That's all I ask. I'll wait it out until maybe Atmosphere gets their EmuMMC up for everyone for "FREE"

To clarify, I am not telling you to buy anything else. You're not the first person to post about changing the emunand size. I have not passed it along personally, but I am sure it has been passed to the devs. Either there is a reason for not doing it or they just have not got to adding it yet. Either way I guess you'll just have to be patient.

Still not sure why you think it will be any better with corruption or speed than fat32. You will still be stuck with the speed of the SD reader and plenty of people have had issues with losing saves or corrupted games on the actual nand, but to each their own I guess. ?‍♂
