Those are good results, keep using the same settings and you will be fine.

As for Bans, thats more related to the topology data that should be inserted into your ripped ISO before burning.

Yes, this are all exceptable.... but as far as ban goes when you run a moded system you are never safe... but with the newest firmware you are as safe as can be...

excellent thanks guys i was just a bit worried about the pif avg also i ran the same disc through nero dicspeed and had a reult of 84 but this is a kprobe result of a diffrent game but with exactly the same settings (ripped and burned prior to the previous one)

Date : 16/01/2012 16:01:39
Model : 2-0-2-0 D:ATAPI iHAS324 B AL1B
Disc : DVD+R DL , MKM003 [Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation]
Speed : 4x
ECC blocks sum (PI/PIF) : 8/1
Scanned range : 0 - 4267009
Sampling count : 249430
Errors : 0
PI Max : 23
PI Average : 0.88
PI Total : 27460
PIF Max : 4
PIF Average : 0.11
PIF Total : 3367

so could it be the rip that is causing my pif avg to be high on the first disc?? i am going to rip another game and burn with exactly the same settings and i wil also post those results

 It's actually slightly worse than your last burn, on all points

nevertheless it's still a good burn though.

what exactly is worse with the third result compared to the first result? also i ran the third disc through nero disc speed and had a score of 90 where with the first burn (same game diffrent settings) it had a score of 84 so i would have thought that the third burn was better than the first burn but obiously not as good as the second burn or would i be wrong in thinking that??

1st

PI Max : 25
PI Average : 0.98
PIF Max : 4
PIF Average : 0.21

2nd

PI Max : 23
PI Average : 0.88
PIF Max : 4
PIF Average : 0.11

3rd

PI Max : 24
PI Average : 0.94
PIF Max : 4
PIF Average : 0.12

The difference between all three of the above burns is minimal, tiny, all have a PIF max of (4) which is the most importtant reading.

I was comparing your 3rd burn with your 2nd burn, which was your best, the 1st burn was the worst, (thats why I mentioned "your last burn" in my previous post).

The difference is not worth measuring though, as for Nero, to get a score in the 84 your PIF max would have to be aound 6 or 7 so something does not add up there.

Do you still have the Nero Scan?

No problem, your welcome, your setup is good, I can't see any problems with any of the graphs posted, the Nero score of 84 worrys me though cause thats giving out the opposite information.

Ok so your Nero score dropped cause you had a spike at (5) which is now making more sense, I believe a PIF max of (5) to be acceptable but I want you to look at your graph again, you will see that where you got that spike of (5) on the Parity Inner Failures reading the colouration of your graph became orange, thats your danger zone, if you ever get a (6) throw the disc in the bin.

this has become an interesting read.. so if PFI is above 4 then nero score goes down below the 90 %.. and if above 5 disc is no good. thanks all for this input..
