Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag gameplay footage arrives

Ubisoft has revealed a load of new gameplay footage for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flags, in which pirates and assassins combine to create a delightful nautical mess. Jean Guesdon, creative director of Black Flag, took a moment during the publisher's now-concluded E3 presser to discuss the new game. "We promised to deliver a brutal pirate experience," he said, adding that "pirates are the perfect symbol of freedom, rebellion and adventure" whose favourite hobbies include "boarding ships, finding treasures, raiding smuggler caves, hunting". Don't forget "subjecting parrots to needless mental torture, Guesdon.
