I was wondering if you extremely knowledgable people can assist me.
I was today given an XBOX that is fragging.
When i opened it up someone has filled LPC point 5 full of solder, badly, i say badly because all around the filled lpc hole both the top side and bottom side of the board is scorched.
Therefore my questions are these:
1. Is it fragging simply because the hole has been filled. (i think no because isn't the hole in fact a metal tube through the board connecting both sides)
2. Is it more likely that the scorching has lead to a fried trace?
If 2, can someone please indicate to me 2 suitable points on the board to bridge this damaged area, bearing in mind that the D0 is god damn hard enough to solder to.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.
