quick question

i just got mine and am obviously keen to finish off fitting it but have run into a problem... there is a small component with two leads coming from it and sticky back plastic... what does this hook up to?

I'm guessing since I do not own one but where is it comming from. If it is comming from the switch side than it goes to the chip, if from the LCD that also goes to the big connector on the chip. If comming from the USB ports then it probably plugs into the MB where port 3&4 go then port 3&4 plug into it.

Attached here is the culprit. It arrived loose and wasn't hooked up to anything. The LCD and switch is plugged into the chip its just this bit thats got me scratching my head...

That plugs from the usb ports the the the controller ports same system as with the reset/eject adapter.

Anyone know who might have the CP in stock in the US? System-Mods has it listed but out of stock, and they seem to get pissed when asked about it.

I noticed the CP out of stock early this morning... but as of 3:00pm PST today, it now says In Stock, and is accepting orders. Just paid for mine =)

Mine arrived this morning. Very easy to install once you get your head round the wiring.

Looks fantastic and really starts turning the black box into a full on media centre.

Can't wait for the guys to see it now.... Jaws are gonna drop!

ambit I would say the Black wires plug into where the 3+4 controller ports plug into the MB, then the ports plug into the plug on the board. The white wires will plug into the USB ports.

Just remember that you have to remove the controller to use the USB on the same port.
