I want to order this from www.modchip.ca but they take forever to update thier site.
I'll say it again. They said they didn't want to put it up for sale until they were ready to ship, and they're estimating Friday.

No Instructions with X3CP
but if you guys can fit a mod chip then you will have no problem fitting this
Front panel clips off ( clip each side then one in the middle )
USB plug into controller 3,4
LCD plug into X3
You need to take your old power / reset switch out only clips in. and also there is a silicon thing which sits around the eject switch
The longest part of fitting it is routing the cables through the front panel
whole job Took about 10 mins to do

awesome. just one more question. i was looking at pics and i noticed that there isnt that much space between the fourth controller port and the lcd. is there enough room to still have my dvd dongle sit there?

Not having a DVD dongle M8 so can't really say for sure
But the LCD is a flush fit with the controller port so if the dongle has the same length connection as a controller I would of thought it would fit

I'm having the same problem... I've spent hours on their IRC channel trying to get it sorted out. One guy promised me it would be here yesterday... Then, when it didn't come a guy promised me it would come today... My mail has come, and it isn't here... I've now been told it will come tomorrow! This sucks, I really want my X3CP!

I too am waiting for the chipdealer shipment. I usually order all stuff from system mods, but when I saw the pre-order at chipdealer I just couldn't wait. The 1 to 2 day shipping is obviously a farce. Has anybody received one from chipdealer?!

I spoke too soon. Got home and my chipdealer shipment was waiting for me. I'd say they came through as advertised.

As far as the control panel goes, I can't believe the quality. It is super clean!

Got mine today and installed it this afternoon. Only 2 small issues I noticed, first is the area around the eject button wasn't cleaned up particularly well but this hardly matters when the unit is powered on to be fair as nobody is stupid enough to stare at my LEDs to see it. Second problem I had was my own fault, while placing the cover on the xbox I must have trapped the LCD cable causing it to rip one of the cables from the connector. 10 minutes fiddling around with pins and solder though and I was back up and running. Looks awesome and certainly better than I could have done dremmeling the front of my xbox myself and I get USB ports added into the bargain too. Thanks for another great product Xecuter.

i just wish it came with some sort of install instructions because it was quite a pain getting everything together. Soldering wasn't difficult, it's knowing where to thread the wires thru etc that got me. In the end I stuck most of the wires underneath the controller ports but I did have to strip some of the plastic from the wires or else my controller ports didn't line up properly.

It definitely looks better in real than it does in the pics and as shagga said I didn't quite fancy getting my dremmel out to install the screen. I did dremmel the top of my xbox to install the custom jewel but that was dead easy :)
