LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Attempting to Flash FW 1071

Attempting to flash drive DG-16D4S with firmware 1071. I've read through the forums and tutorials but have come up short. My first question to all is: will I require all the following hardware as listed in the following tutorial?

you can get bundle packs that have evrything you need.but that list is pretty much it apart from you need the sputnik probe.

yes. you wont need a replacement PCB if you install a sputnik switch and have your PCB as a MXIC chipset (Winbond needs kamakazi or unlocked PCB)
