how do i make a freeboot image when i have the aud clamp done to my jtag? i tried jtag tool 3.0 and it only gives me 2 options, original and aud_clamp & dvd drive.
ok i gotcha! i did the same thing, only instead of DB1F1 i went to the pin on the dvd socket. it worked perfectly, otherwise you will have to run a smc patch tool to change it freeboot.
when i followed that guide back in the day before JTAG tool supported any alt wiring i soldered to the corresponding DVD pin on the bottom side of the motherboard for the simple face i hate splicing wires together like that
