just a quick noob question.

what happens if you select aud clamp in jrunner and it don't have that wiring?

or if you don't select aud clamp and it does?

will it mess up the console?

thanks.

another quick question. I know mine is jasper jtag with no aud clamp wiring but what do you call it when you have a wire going from jtag point to the front of the console by the on light.

don't bother trying to explain to me about LDV on RGH's. to this day i still don't get it. all i know is you dump the nand fresh, and update and don't worry about ldv (well i don't) but if someone could explain do you ever change this value and when it would clear up a long missunderstandning i have about ldv.

yes iam a noob with a lot of posts so please don't flame me as my experience is flashing only.

I just want answers to these 3 questions.

1. yes if you dont have aud clamp wiring, and you create an aud_clamp nand, then yes it will brick the console, until the wiring is changed, or the correct nand is written.
2. That is called regular jtag, Aud_Clamp is better on most systems, as the ROL might be glitchy with regular. Aud_clamp people claim you loose 5.1 audio out(Havnt tested my self)
3. LDV is only important if you are creating a retail nand, as Jtag/Rgh images have this patched out. Dont confuse this with CB LDV, which is important, as the CB version tells you which dash versions can be run on your console.

I would suggest reading the Martin C's RGH roadmap for noobs, and his LDV and why it is important guide.

Nothing is stopping you searching before posting. The fact you're asking about LDVs then say you don't want them explained to you speaks volumes.

Mis-wiring on JTAG causes E79 as it cannot boot.

If you solder to the RoL then that's RoL wiring.

Read the rules again before your next post.
