Autorun

I cant turn off the autorun function on my xbox. I had evox as my dashboard i turned the autorun function off in that but it still would load a game instead of the dashboard. I now have XBMC as my dashboard and the same thing happens even tho I've turned autorun off. Is this anything to do with the chip and can i stop it. I have an xecutor 2.6ce.

do you let it boot to dash frist then place game in dvd drive
or you power up xbox then put game in dvd drive before the dash has a time to boots if so then it will start the game and not the dash you will have to let the dash boot frist

Is there away of getting it to boot the dash when the game is already in the drive when I switch the power on?

yes but i would live it alone as if you have prolboms down the track and need to use a boot dvd or need to ftp useing dvd then it will not work

Any good dashboard will allow you to set it up so that you can hold buttons down while it boots, it will skip loading the dash and go right to the application you specified. Unfortunately EvolutionX is not one of those dashboards.
