Avalaunch or EvoX for x3

I like Avalaunch. I switched from EvoX to Avalaunch two or three months back and I dont think I'll ever go back. I just like the way everything is setup and it has very good features.
As for the DVD2XBOX goes, I have always used the HDD loader. What is better about it. I was going to give it a try but I have not had a chance yet. Is it quicker or something?

I started with Evox - simply coz they had a lovely Skin with Adriana :lol:
But i actually prefer Unleashx coz u can customise alot more - not used Avalaunch enough yet

I like Ava, its easy to use and looks nice and doesn't look like someone just slapped a menu system on it like Evox, another good one is UnleashX. I recommend you choose Ava especially if your just starting out and you don't want to edit a file or anything, just put it on the HD and tell the x3 that u are using it and your set. Ava also can download all the files u need rather its updating its system files or download and installing ConfigMagic, DVD2XBOX, XBMC, and DVD-X2. I think the only thing you actually have to do is setup the network settings and if you are using a router all you have to do is enable DHCP and thats it. Hope this helps

I think DVD2XBOX is updated a little more often, and it has ACL file use built in.

well the ava wins 17-0....funny not one person said anything about how they like evox, any of u guys had problems with ur d0 line, mine didn't solder very well and i had to resolder a few times.......and now once the chip is enabled i can boot back to my MS bios......is there a connection under the d0 point that goes to something on the otherside of the board??? And you guys helped a ton on my decision for a dash. THANKS! 8)

I have looked all over for the info on how to install avalaunch, i already have all the files ( i think ... got em from xbins) but i do not know how to get them up ... i burned CDs and used Qwix to upload but i could not get it.

I know this is not the best forum for this post but seeing that you all use and love it can any one give me any pointers ... or just tell me where i can find more ... the teamavalaunch site was down so i did not know if that was the place to go.

I have a pc monitor board can some one fix it?

On the board there are a 4 bad caps on it how much would one of you charge to fix it? Any of you do this kinda stuff i cant soder well so im not going to try at this
