is there a way to stop the greeting from poping up that says merry xmas?

you need to download a skin for ava, also you can change the bit at the bottom corner by entering the settings and then the code at the bottom.

you have to update your avalaunch, just connect it to the internet and it should autoupdate.

if your trying to get rid of that anime girl xmas pic on startup... just make a picture called "bootimage.png" (it must be saved as a .png file, u can use windows paint for this) and make it 640x480 in size and put it in the root of C (or whever you have avalaunch installed at)

hmm i dont have a router so i tried linking the box through a hub and just directly to my cable modem but it wont connect me. i selected dhcp the the avalauch menu and it gives me a network error.

any advice?

do i need the bios setting to read dhcp to?
