I would love to try Avalaunch, however I can't find the tutorial that details the steps to installing it etc. I believe the installation is similiar to Evox, but a guide would be nice.

I've tried teamavalaunch.com it seems to be down. I did get the latest version off IRC (#xbins). Does anyone know where I can find a guide for Avalaunch? Do they have an IRC channel maybe??

Thanks.

unrar the file you downloaded...and upload it to your xbox

the default location for dashboards is C:, but that can be changed in the X3 Config Live if you would prefer a different partition (I use F:) ... it's that simple

yeap, just unzip the files and upload them to your xbox C: drive. the x3 when booting up will automatically use Avalaunch as the default dashboard, so if you have evo-x on there, just put those avalaunch files to the drive you want and it will go straight into ava instead of evo-x. that is how i have my setup. it is definitely that simple...well, good luck n i hope you can get it done b4 christmas!!!!

Profile has disappeared?

Ok strange one, this xbox 360 has never ever been connected to xbox live, so i believe the recover gamertag is just not an option.

Turned on the xbox 360 and all of a sudden, no profiles found. Went to the hard drive dialog in the system settings, all the saved games and everything are still there, it is just the profile that has gone walk-a-bouts.

Does anyone know what to do from here?

Can you recover the gamertag in any other way?

if you ring up microsoft and talk to their support staff (number on xbox .com)

They can retreive your tag i believe they have for me in the past so def give this a shot.
