Avalaunch update question.

I have avalaunch 49.3 and I want the newest version 49.3.134 or something like that. My question is how do I get the auto update function to work? I can ftp into avalaunch just fine but when I plug my bb modem into the xbox, it doesn't update. It says something like Unable to contact http/......... I set dhcp to enable and it assigns the xbox an address which is the same that it assigns my computer when it is hooked up to the bb modem. Just point me to a tut. or something I hate to ask but ......

It may just be your version. When I got my first version of Avalaunch it wouldn't update either, so I wen't to Xbins and got the newer one and installed it manually. It has worked ever since.

This is the newest version available in xbins. I have been told on this forum (when trying to figure out how to get rid of the merry x-mas girl) that a newer version was available to auto update. I have also read in various forums that the update server is down a lot. I was just wondering if my Avalaunch settings were correct to use the update function and if I could connect directly to my broadband modem with my xbox and recieve these updates. If anyone else knows something I don't, please tell me.
