I extracted Aval and copy everything to F xbox HD then edit Evox.ini

section "app"

I added Item "avalaunch" "f:\avalaunch\default.xbe"

reboot system, selected avalaunch, it show red and can't select on it

Thats what you did wrong...its looking for default.xbe where it should be looking for avalaunch.xbe. Either fix your evox.ini or rename the file...either will work.
This is NOT the same as running it as a dashboard.

Avalaunch works best when ran primarily from bootup. I'd suggest replacing it and adding evox as an option in Avalaunch. Avalaunch is far more superior.

I just went from what he said and figured he wanted to run it out of EvoX.
That's fine - It was more of a pre-warning if he gets any problems with it.

For instance, FlashX doesn't load from Evox dashboard, but does from Avalaunch. However, load Avalaunch from the Evox dashboard and it won't work.

I personally find EvoX somewhat obsolete...the only thing it has over any dash is trainers...
(going slightly OT)

Well Evolution-X were due to release a radical update, but never saw anything of that. I wonder if the M8 BIOS just took precedence.

When I extract from rar (aval 0.49.3) there is no default.xbe file.
avalaunch.xbe i rename to default.xbe because i thought its just dash, but it not

Ok. Aval had to be primary bootup to make it work and evox optional in Aval.

why I alway do things upside down (i'm just talking to myself)

Thanks alot guys... I'll start over again

Thanks

This is fine - copy the lot to a drive (I'd choose E or F - straight into the root) and change your X3 ConfigLive Settings to boot dashboard from the chosen drive. It will look for avalaunch.xbe by default.

You mean X3 live config---select- customize x3 bios----select---dashboard boot priority--select---avalaunch.xbe --select.

So I don't have change anything evox.ini right?

I will let you know the result

Thanks Martin
