RGH Avatar DLC items not working after RGH

Hi all,

I had a CoolRunner installed in my Slim last week and I've been having a probelm with Avatar items.

Before the install, I had a few items that I bought off XBL. They were all working fine and the console is on the latest dash.

After the install the items appear in the 'dress up' section of the 'customise avatar' menu but when I highlight them nothing happens. My avatar just stays wearing the previous outfit. I can even select the items and the avatar spins around, but the outfits/props don't appear on him.

If I go back into 'dress up' the outfit has a tick on it and the others show the 'hanger' icon as they would normally.

I had a backup of a couple of the outfits on my USB stick and tried re-installing them but it makes no difference.

I can wear items that I unlocked in games (eg Fable 3 outfit) and the other items you get as default but no DLC items.

I tried opening a copy of the items from my USB stick in various programs like YarisSwap and they show my XUID on the items.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I know it's not a big feature but I'd like to get my items back.

Would re-installing the dash make a difference? I don't want to mess up my RGH in any way.

You shouldn't need to manually edit anything to make them work on the same console.

Has anything changed during the RGH process from before and after? HDD replacement? Any issues with the RGH etc?

Are you running Dashlaunch 2.26?

Hi Martin, thanks for the reply.

Yes, I'm running DashLaunch 2.26 and the console is on the 13604 Dash.

I haven't made any other changes to the console, no HDD updates etc. It's just the standard 250gb slim.

Everything else is working perfectly, games and homebrew working, everything in the correct folders etc.

The items were all working fine before the install and they're recent items like the Robin costume from Batman Arkham City, so not older items that need re-downloading.

do you have the content unlock patch line in launch.ini?

I went into Launch.ini and set the content patch to 'false'. It's working perfectly now.
