[b]installed x3, pin header, on a 1.5 and frags[/b]

I've allready installed 3 x3 chips in various boxes over the last two weeks, 1.0 1.4 and a 1.6.
However, i installed this one in a 1.5 yesterday and now i cant get it to boot, just frags, and im getting no video at all, with or without chip connected. i checked all of the pins on the header and all of the connections are good, i dont see any broken traces, lost resistors, ect, . i also checked the d0 wire and it seems to be secure.. so i am running out of ideas...

any suggestions or help would be key, im ready to go to kmart and get a new one, so i can return the old box if its dead and start fresh...

Center Green Light Flashing

Hey guys...

I flashed lite on 9345c... everything went off smooth... i have the key n then flashed lt 1.1... however once i soldered the cuts n fixed the drive back the console keeps blinking the center green light n nothing happens... the console doesnt start... i took off the drive n the the console boots up fine but has tht green center light blinking...

whats wrong... help me pls guys...

Had the same problem with a 7xx, what solved it (For me) was I wiggled the connectors on the xbox PCB till it stopped flashing, then re-flashed making sure I wasnt moving the connectors during flash. But not entirely sure but you can give it a try i guess. Good luck

The reason for your green light flashing is because you have shorted out the board when you repaired your cuts so there is no power going to the drive hence the light flashing you need to check your repairs.

My advise is to use a multi meter to make sure everything is doing what it is supposed to do. :wink:
