[B]X3 Xbox v1.6b Frags, external switch red[/B]

First time i soldered the x3 chip in my crystal xbox v1.6b, the lights on the chip was off and it booted to ms dash.

I rechecked all soldering points.
Now the two blue leds for 3.3 and 5v is on.
On the external switch the x is red and the blue hd led is on.

I cant disable or turn on the chip, because when i push the power button it lights up green and resets 3 times. And then it flashes Green and red.

The eject button to the cd drive works but the screen is black.

I have soon used 12 hours checking and resoldering all the wires. Does anyone know what can be wrong?

Check Your LAD1 install Sounds like it's in frag mode - Also chip may be faulty
any other help let me know - Also is your chip pre-flashed?

I resoldered LAD0-LAD3 but still frags. I have tryed taking the chip out of the xbox, then the xbox works normal again.

I dont know yet if my chip is pre-flashed, I will know that tomorrow.

Can the fraging have something to do with the flashing?

no. it has to do with your soldering.

it's probably the bios version. on the 1.6b's it'll frag the same way if the soldering is bad or if the bios isn't the right one.
