Backing Up what dvd writer

Ok for backing up games i need to buy a dvd writer that does dual layer, is there any certain type i have to buy or wil anyone work as long as it supports dual layer writing

i just bought a Pioneer 111D from Newegg.com and Caster420 has it and it works for him.

I'm in the same gang, Pio 111D using verbatim DL 2.4 printable, 1 coaster out of 7, speaks for it'self in my opinion!!
