Backup Bios help

If this is the wrong forum, can a mod or admin kindly move it When I try to boot to the backup bios, sometimes it boots to flashbios with a blue (not purple) xecuter logo, and sometimes I just get a blackscreen, but with a purple logo... Booting to MS Dash and booting with 1959 bios both work fine. Could my backup ROM be faulty or could it be my switch?

Why would you want to boot to the backup bios?(which should be Flashbios, unless you already flashed another bios on a different bank)

I was trying to show the X3's features to a friend of mine who just bought an xbox and was thinking of getting a chip for it. I'm not too worried about it since I haven't had any trouble with the 1959 bios, but I'd still like to have my backup working properly just in case.
