I'm a noob so please help!

I have installed the X3 fine and flashed 1957. All fine and booting fine.

I try and play 2 different backed up games that work on other Xbox's but they both come up with dirty or errored disc.

Please help!!!

Try the following it has ALWAYS worked for me....
You need to get the iso file onto your PC first.
then use craxtion4 on the PC to unpack your iso to a folder and then rebuild it to an iso again with craxtion4. (you can transfer this unpacked file easily to your xbox hard drive if you want to)
Then when the iso is created right click on it and choose 'open with' and select nero opening it this way ensures it is burned as a foreign image with all the correct settings.
Ive tried using some downloaded backup iso files and they havnt worked until i did the above procedure.
If you still have problems maybe your DVD drive is at fault

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I have a Thompson DVD drive which what I've read about seems to suck. I re-burnt one backup on min speed and this has worked (yay!) but the other has not.

I will try the above of rebuilding the ISO and burning it.

Re: my partition 1 does not show on 0 2 and 3

I don't think there is a Partition 1 on the 360 drives 0 should be the dashboard, 2 is for xbox originals, and 3 is where all you DLC profiles ect are stored.
