Backup Flash not working.

Ok, I got past my previous EEPROM issues, and now am at the point where I "should" be able to install a BIOS, but when I try and get to my backup via power and eject, nothing happens. I have tried different banks with p+e, and still nothing, im kinda sitting on my hands because I was able to bring my xbox back to life, so if anyone knows any dip settings or any way besides power+eject, i'd appriciate it :)

[UPDATE]

I did check my wiring inside to see if the eject board was faulty looking, looks fine, everything is secure.. and the combo of p+w worked hours before, just seems to have died.

not being rude or anything, but what else can nothing happens mean ?

Like pushing a button and something happening yea, thats something... but when you push the buttons and NOTHING happens, I figured I meant nothing.
I tried em both and still "nothing" no lights, no sounds, no video, no power, no NOTHING. :)

Liteon dump method question..

hey guys i have a couple questions about dumping the liteon drive, i was thinking of using the ck3 probe and power unit to mod a 93c drive but after doing a little research i found this Guide basically a "do-it-yourself" probe..


im trying to save a bit of money doing it this way, the cheapest i could find a ck3 probe and pwoer unit is about $60cdn which is a bit more then i wanna spend...

neways my questions are, i have a maximus 360 power unit already, would i be able to tap inot that to get the 3.3v needed? (i know pin6 on the on the connectivity unit supplies +3.3vdc )

and also the guide says to use dosflash to read drive f/w could i just use jungleflasher to do that?

this method is basically a mra hack just without using the drive pcb for the 3.3v and using a couple pins instead of a switch so i assume that the jungleflasher guide for dumping via MRA would work just fine with this method?

Yeah it should work. Make sure up pick up the respective negative for the 3.3V for the 22 ohm resistor.

Yes you can just use jungle flasher.

Just follow the JFtut for vampire only (NOT USING REBUILD BOARD). I would also check out the xtractor tut here. Vampire Only

Since you already have 360 xtractor you could just buy the Vampire probe, it is suposed to be 100% compatable with all xtractor models. 360Xtractor website
