backup question

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I wasn't sure where to put it.

I flashed my 360 a couple of months back, it has a hitatchi 78 drive. Since then i've not been on live, i've played all my backups offline. 1 of my backups isn't properly stealthed as it was the 1st one i did and wasn't really sure what i was doing. I have been playing this game offline.

What i want to know is if i flash to the new ixtreme 1.2 firmware and go on live will MS know i've been playing backups and ban me?

Prolly not. Tho your games that aren't properly patched will cease to work so you'll have to give it off to some fellow who still is on the old firmware to play them. the new firmware will not play improperly patched games.

ok cheers for that.

its only the 1 game i have that isn't properly patched, all the rest are fine. or at least i think they are. i have checked them with xbox backup creator.

another thing, i think my subscription has run out so is there any way i can find out if i have been banned if it has run out or will i have to buy a new subscription to find out?
