Hey guys, can anyone clear this up for me?
I'm trying to backup games, I use flashFXP to transfer the game files to my pc, then use Xiso to make my ISO file then I use Blindwrite on a slow burn to put onto a dvd-r
when I put the disc in it loads fine but then any other time I try to use it, they don't work.
I've tried removing the data from x,y,z drives and that doesn't work.
any ideas???

OK I took my box apart and looked inside my DVD Drive, it looked like the indise of a vacuum cleaner, (not really hat bad but I like to exaggerate) I wiped down my lens with metho and presto, EVERY type of media I put in works now, even all my mp3 CD-R's!!!!!

so much for that old theory that xboxes WONT read cdr!!

Nope.

The theory still exists. It all matters on the DVD drive your Xbox has. Generally, the Thompsons struggle to even read the original discs, and the Samsungs will read everything you shove in there. Do a little more reading on it before you shoot it down.

with the different dvd drives it's pretty much at matter of luck which type of media will work in it. yes samsung has pretty much the best results of the drives but it even fails occasionally with some media.
