How Do I know if my 360 is running my backups at 4x or 12x

Assuming you have a samsung, which firmware did you flash to the drive (A,B,C,D)?

5.2c but none of my new backups are working. and sometimes my originals dont work. it tells me to put this disc in a original xbox 360 console. do u know why is that
