Bad block question

I already did a few RGH/JTAGs but never hab bad blocks.

I'm just doing a RGH on a Falcon. I read the nand twice and compared them, they're identical but they have a bad block at AF.

I already wrote xell generated with the most recent multi builder because it involves only the blocks till 4F.

Now my questions:

Is it okay to update the hacked image with xell? Cause writing it back with nandpro (2.0e) won't rempap bad blocks as far as I know.

Can I use the dumps with the bad block for creating the hacked image or do I need to remap them first?

I will install the chip now, (hopefully) get the key and look back here afterwards.

Thanks for your help!

Is your xell Loading fine ?

Then just build a freeboot with your Nand and Cpukey !
Write this freeboot to your console using NAND_X write or put updflash.bin and xenon.elf to root of your usb stick and boot console with eject button !
And use J-runner ,This is so easy to use and you can get more support of it !

Thanks. I got the key, generated freeboot with it and flashed it with rawflash like you mentioned, because I didn't know if it will remap the bad blocks with nandpro 2.0e (I only have a USB SPI Flasher).

Everthing worked well, BUT:

If you have RawFlash built-in in Xell Reloaded it'll find the update called "updflash.bin" and write it, No need for xenon.bin

Without built-in RawFlash you need to copy "xenon.bin" from Multibuilder/Data path and "nandflash.bin" (renamed from "updflash.bin") to the root of the SD.

Just a detail but thanks a lot for the fast and good help.
