Try building your image without dashlaunch patches.

Flash with rawflash v4.

It doesn't matter whether you have a 256 or 512, the image is built the same.

a quick find. with my original nand i sometimes get i dont have any memory unit. the memory tab displays : no memory unit.

and a question. should i recreate the ecc file using the fixed nand or it doesnt matter?

I still think there is only 1 actual bad block at 0x1B8.

What I'd be trying is this... On the original NAND, repair the SPARE on the first 0x2A blocks I mentioned. Those blocks have small block SPARE format and I think that's why nandpro gives error 240. However, assuming the data part is fine then you should be able to repair the SPARE using nandpro +w somehow. I'm not at home so I can't give the exact commands right now.

If that can be repaired to the point there are no ecc errors and only the one bad block, then build the image with Xnandhealer or Multibuilder and give it a try.

Martin, are you able to advise how to rebuild the SPARE?

And nymphetaminer, what is the history of this console? Someone has messed with the NAND judging from your upload.

i bought the console new 2 years ago and i only flashed the dvd drive. i havent touched the nand or anythin like this before

AND im having an issue. rawflash gets stuck at 0x51 at everything i try to flash and the console fans go full speed for no reason. i checked everything twice and there is no short anywhere. i dont know this is getting weird

I was under the impression that +w just rebuilds ecc. If you've built a normal image, then -w should overwrite any anomalies.

I also agree that there's more happened here than originally said - it's almost unheard of for a console to be behaving in this way especially with that many bad blocks in the first part of the NAND.

OP - can you post pics of your wiring?

i dont have a camera at the moment but i followed this guide:

http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74689

and the blue wire is far from the 2 capacitors

Ok i flashed with nandpro the image without the dashlaunch.

oh and i erased the part of the nand you said

the xbox booted properly asked me location and staff and then to create a profile. when i selected create profile i got a storage device error (it told me to connect a memory unit) and thes the console froze

OH and after flashing with nandpro the fans went back to normal speed

Build a retail NAND from the one I sent you (you can do this in multi_builder).

Flash this to your console and see what happens.
flashed with rawflash. i still cant create a profile , it says i have no memory unit.

rebooted it 5-6 times and it froze only once in the profile select menu. still no memory when trying to create profile.

also i can skip profile selection and the dashboard was ok. no freezing or anything

I've seen this before where consoles won't pick up the MU until a USB storage is connected (I have one in my possession I've just finished repairing!). Has the freezing gone?

ok - so that was with the rebuilt retail NAND in multi_builder, yes?

So take retail_image.bin and rename to nanddump.bin. Copy to the my360 folder and build an RGH image from that.

Is there WAS anything wrong with your NAND image before, it should be resolved by this process.

trying it in a moment and ill post back.

does this mean that there were errors past the block 0xfff in nand that was causing the freezing??

and a last question. if everything goes well should i put a little hot glue over the points A B and C? im concerned that a sudden vibration can break the soldering joints especialy for C
