I am doing a JTAG for the first time so please go easy on me. :)

I have been able to solder the nand-x and dump the nand. I got 2 Error 250 errors and 5 Error 0 errors while doing that. Nand size is 66 MB. Is that correct? Shouldnt it be more like 64 MB?

when I check the nand back in 360 flash dump tool it shows me only 3 errors (out of 7). I read somewhere that bad blocks shouldnt be there within first 50 blocks. I am not sure how to check that.
The tuts for bad blocks tell me to remap the blocks but it requires CPU key. Without Xell, I cant get the CPU key. Does that mean I can use the bad block nand to build ecc and flash it? If so, then the remapping etc is required only for creating freeboot?

with 2 bad blocks dont worry about it, i had the same thing on my falcon, went through anyways and all is well, if it doesnt work for some reason then thats when u need to remap them.

" Jasper consoles do NOT need the entire NAND flashed. The first 1000 blocks (64mb) is all that matters. The rest of the space is for storage and updates.

Are you using an original NAND dump to create the new Freeboot image? If so, how big is the dump? I hope you havent been waiting for a 512mb NAND to be read/written."" From Gnarles

Not using the entire 512MB nand :p Just took out th 64mb nand but the size on computer shows 66MB.
btw what about the 5 Error 0 I got? Is that ok too? In one of the articles I read about KVs also being important to play DVDs. Mine is giving Bad KV. What I need to do?

BADKV is that the Key vault aka the cpu key is wrong, u dont have it yet, besides the 2 bad blocks u are golden.
