Bad blocks reading NAND

I get ERROR: 250 reading block 5 and 99, and as far as I know bad blocks are very common.

The problem is that when i want to remap these bad block JTAG Tool gives med "Can't read file"

I've also tried with Degraded 1.1, and the program stops running (windows 7)

I know the reading of the NAND is correct, as the dump has been performed 4.times with the same result.

This is a zephyr, and not the same box that I've asked for help on earlier :)

Is it ok to flash back nands with bad blocks in case FreeBoot will not work, or do I have to remap them?

First degraded could not open the file so i edited it in a hex editor and changed the year to 2005 as described in many posts. When trying open that edited file degraded crash/not responding.
Any ideas why it will not open in degraded nor in jtag tools?
I checked the CB version which is exploitable 4558.

I use team xecuters nand-x programmer and kit. The nand was read without the use of jtag. should i install the jtag and re-read the nand?

I have now tried with XP on an other computer.

JTAG Tool is still complaining "Can't read file"

Degraded shuts down after file selection.

How can the file be corrupted?

I tried to open the other files from my other zephyr and those show up.

Hmmm, not what I expected.

All dumps carries the the same bad blocks. I've tried to dump it over and over again.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Ok - not seen this before. 360 Flash Tool 0.97 didn't want to know. Degraded 1.1 was ok once I changed the date.

I grabbed an older version of 360 Flash Tool (0.91) from Xbins and it opens it fine.

As per my PM, you should be good to go. Both blocks are remapped, so no unsusual errors.

Thx Martin C!

Any idea why I get no signal on tv after flashing Xell for zephyr?

If I flash back the original Nand1.bin the box start as normal (of course)

Yes I know :)

The screen flicker as it gets signal when turning the box on, and after a few secs it says no signal. Then a few secs after that it gives me 3.rrod.

Can you upload one of the NANDs and PM me a link?
How long is a few seconds?

What wiring are you using and what tool are you using to write to the NAND?
When I start the Box I hit the eject button (I've also tried without)

Once I hit the ejectbutton the green light starts to blink, and Screen turns from "no signal" to black.
After 3.sec the screen turns back to no signal, and after 7-10 more sec. the red lights starts to flash.

I use Team Xecuters quick solder kit, and Nand-X programmer. I also use the latest version of Jtag Tool from Cool-Shrimp. (running as administrator on Win7)

Jtag tools states that there are reported problem using the latest dash on zehpyr, but that is not of concern yet. :)

I know indeed it's a Zehpyr from the Power Connector and the HDMI.

Any Clue why it will not work?

Update:
I have also tried to re solder the diod to ft1u2 with the same results.

I was wondering.
If my jtag soldering was, wouldn´t I have an E79 error or something after flashing Xell?
Why the three RRoD lights?

All info on this box tells me it is exploitable. I´m desperate :)

I had the same problem on my zephyr when I remaped the blocks. I had 2 error 250s as well allthough much farther in the nand. Everytime I remaped I got rrod. I ended up not remapping the blocks and just went with it and it worked.
