GENERAL Bad CD Burns constantly?

Sorry, not a hardcore user, i don't know much of my information so I really don't expect a response, just hoping for one .I have been using ABGX for years, and I don't feel it's the problem right now. I am using IMGBURN with it, and some my discs that are XGD3's are not burning correctly, while others are. I am using the recommended settings given in this post "http://team-xecuter.com/forums/threads/80675-XGD3-games-install-failed-at-47" with an iHas124. Installations stop at 42-49% depending on the disk, using MKM003's. Is this a problem with my file, or with IMGBURN or abgx...?

Most likely it would be imgburn settings. Find guide how to set imgburn, download kprobe and keep trying and playing with settings.

Yes, it would probably be the settings, but don't just play with them randomly and waste discs. Look up on youtube how to properly rip, patch, and burn Xbox 360 games. Mr. Mario 2011 has a good tutorial and so does xxmoddedwarfarexx.

Also, it would help us help you if you post the agbx log.

Well I used to write discs with all default settings and the discs used to come out perfectly. I just had a problem these past few days when I started on these 2 new games. I followed this tutorial and his settings made by DrunkenNinja in multiple settings and it doesn't want to co-operate. If left at default settings it usually burns a disc at 46%, if used his recommended settings I get a 42% and an error half-way through my burn at 2.4x. Unfortunately those were my last discs so I need to buy some more; which i'm going to do right now. But what settings if so would you guys recommend? It's getting frusterating using a buncha discs just for nothing.

First link shows the settings that I use for agbx and second shows what I use for imgburn. To be completely honest, the settings may not be the problem, especially since some XGD3 games are burning fully. If you are having trouble only with one game, I would think that the issue lies with the iso. If you are having trouble with several games, it may be your burner.

Maybe you should try cleaning the lens.
