Bad command!!

hi!

i have done everything step by step reading the tutorial , and i'm using the ntfs method. when i type SAMREAD myserialnr and press enter it says:
Bad command or filename - "SAMREAD"

whats the prob?? pls help me

You have the space in samread? Is it in a directory without spaces in it?

after the disclaimer the A: came up and i just typed in samread. should i go to C:\XBF and type samread there?i went there and the samread is there without space

ok i did it and know it scanned the drives but my via chipset is not displayed??

when i typied samread serialnr

this came up:

Bad command or filename - "MD(BACKUPS)"

and then mtkflash by joseph lin ....

what should i do pls someone reply.

Xtreme Pri Master is your via card.

However, if it didnt make a directory called backups, then a directory in backups with the first part of your serial number and then a directory within that with the last part of your serial number, i dont know that it will write your original properly.

You can just start the flash manually with;
mtkflash r /m /sata orig.bin

When finished, you should have a file orig.bin in the same directory as mtkflash. Then boot to Windows, check the orig.bin with firmware toolbox etc....
