Bad Connection on LPC's

I've installed the xecuter 2.6 Ce solderless and it will work for as long as i leave it on, i can reboot.
If i turn it off for around 2 hours and then turn it back on it frags.
If i push down on the side of the chip (opposite of the screw) it will boot, otherwise it wont.
Any suggestions? besides reinstalling it because i've done that about 6 times and end up with the same results.

have you made sure theres no 'resin' on any of the contact points?
personally i would get someone to solder a pinheader in if your not keen on doing it yourself
a local tv repairshop wont charge a lot
