LITEON 74850 Bad Erase (trying to fix with dosflash)

Hello , My problem is that : Some times ago i've been trying to update my Lt firmware with jungleflasher...i had some problem and suddently my reader doesnt work...it doesnt open the cart so i can figure out that the firmware on it has gone....Now i installed RGh chip and get my DVD key , so i regenerate firmware with dummy and DVD key , I've red some tutorial about dosflash and i've been trying to flash my reader ...my problem is that when i write dosflash it doesnt show me the name of dvd drive in sata Lists , so ive tried to put off all the sata plug and tried to erase all the offset addresses , results? it always say's FF7F and it never has result FF72 as it must be...I've tried with an other computer because i've thought that the problem could be the Chipset of my MOBO (AMD® 880G/SB710) but i got the same results also with an other computer...I've tried with jungleflasher but it never find me the reader ... I hope you can help me...

Use JungleFlasher and Lite-On erase (found under MTKFlash32).

Hi.
If your drive is definatly a liteon the just keep trying the liteon erase until the drive goes into vendor mode, it should work eventually.
Once you have the drive in vendor mode carry on as usual

As long as you know the exact port for you dvd for onboard sata then you should just keep trying liteon erase to get into vendor mode even if drive is not found when first setting it up, it is there just not recognised. Once it it gets it to vendor mode ur good. Thats why usbpro comes in handy. Port is the same 0x0000 (maybe too many Zeros, u get my point) for all

1. plug the drive up to pc
2. run jf app
3. load ur ofw/cfw with ur key spoofed
4. mtkflash select ur sata port click liton-erase
5. then click yes then yes again
6. then it will ask u to power cycle the drive do so quickly
7. u should now be in vendor mode ur chipset should show to the right and status 0x72.click write
when done outro the device if outro worked correctly the drive model and key verified will be to the left agian.

thats it works everytime. also when i say power cycle the drive i mean with ck3/ck3i or if using the 360 for power unplug the power from the drive then back in quickly.

Its a liteon... Do not hit intro device... U need to hit Liteon erase

dont intro the liteon drive. meaning u can click intro the device allday long and it will not work. u have to as i said above from the mtkflash tab click liteon-erase then click yes click yes agian then it will ask u to power cycle ur drive click yes and do so quickly u should get 0x72 if u get 0x80 quickly cycle it agian should now be 0x72 . if so write the firm of ur choice as long as ur key has been injected

I have normal power plug of dvd drive , i have connected it to xbox and reader , i have the xbox power on , i should make it off? ive tried with xbox switched off and xbox switched on , but always the same result

1.try this plug the drive up to pc and power it however u r dont power on the drive yet "if powering with 360 console 360 should be on but power wire not connected on back of the drive till step5"

2. load the fw u want to target

3. mtkflash with the power to the drive still off click liteon erase u will get the same message u have been gettin .

4. now after u receive the" Drive returned Status 0x7f Device Intro failed!"

5. Ok, now click ERASE LITE-ON again but now, after the messenger "Drive returned Status 0x7f" turn on your driver while (...) the dots is being shown.

6.= 0x72 write

r u power cycleing the drive by pushing the power button on the console ? if so that wont work u need to just unplug from the back of the 360 drive not the sata the power cable and plug back in quickly to correctly power cycle the drive
