Using a working x2.6 i amd trying to reflash a non working x2.6

with the non working chip, i get the reboots and FRAG

So i am trying to hotswap flash my modchip. I boot the xbx up with the working chip using slayers disc, Turn the chip off, swap with the bad flashed chip, turn the chip on and unprotect it. When i try to flash it i get this error

"Flash Not Writeable"

anyway to fix this? or is the chip dead?

I guess to save a post, I am having this exact same problem with my 2.6CE

I got my panties in a wad when it came in and flashed over both FlashBIOS3.0.3's with 256k modded BIOSes I used on my old chip, then read the directions.

I have gone through many many methods of flashing and I have been unable to get any of them to work. I too have a programmer, like everyone else, that I can not get to work on either my laptop or PC.

I haved tried the following:
Custom EvoX Disc (With support for the AMD chip used [01d5]
Raincoat via Linux [EurAsia flash disc]
Programmer [Detected 0x0900 when enabled - 0xDDDD when disabled]
HackDaBox [Realized there is no support]

I too am using my buddies modded 1.5 Halo with an Aladdin XT [6x2 pinheader]

I get all of the lights when i plug it in on the 6x2 [so it is on there right].

When I try to flash it seems like nothing will detect the chipset [like its not an AMD]

I verified the validity of the chip and it is an original.

Anyone here wanna program it for me if I pay to ship it to and from? If you want to charge, its not worth it as I can just buy a new one.
