My 360 has the Samsung M28 drive and I'm using the VIA VT 6421A controller. Using the newest Xtreme Bootmaker, I successfully created a boot floppy with the mtkflash on it. When I boot to DOS it sees the Xtreme drive(it's the only one listed). I power off the drive and instantly hit the drive letter (#1). I wait for varying amounts of seconds, from 1 -60 actually, and can't get the firmware read.
I feel pretty confident that it's a timing issue but I am not sure what to do except to keep trying but I've spent hours so far.
