Wait up - you follow someone else's crappy tutorial then come here asking for help?

Where's the point in that???

It's so easy to update the Dashboard now. I use Bestbig's Freeboot builder. All you need is the CPU key and your original NAND dump.

Go post on their forum and ask for help there - they'll be best positioned to assist you.

thats a 512 jasper then. i have several xenon 16mb nand that shows as 16.5 in windows and a zephyr that is the same, no jaspers but its 512 on your's from what you said. as long as you have your original nand it should be easy to sort out with johnny's guide but you will need to know if the jtag is wired to the audio clamp and open tray wiring or db1f1 and the rol to input the correct smc setting in jtag tool.
someone please correct me if i'm wrong like i said this is new territory for me still.

I'm not flaming, just stating a fact here. Go post on their forums as it's their tutorial!

He doesn't need assistance on flashing it, surely? After all, he's got a NAND-X installed...

You're telling us NOTHING about the situation you're in.

What did you use to dump the original NAND? What program are you using?

Did you get any errors?

But you've been using your console between these times - what space was available on the internal memory? Better still, the NAND itself has an ID which will tell you what size it is.
