Bad Flash question.

Alright I'm not very good with all this only flased my dvd drive ones. Anyway I have the MS25 with the manufactoring date as of December 2005. Now my questiong is in order to upgrade to the ixreme do I have to use the bad flash and if so do I use the same one and same instructions as for the MS25.

Only use badflash if you have a VIA chipset, if you don't, use the 0800 disc. Assuming you don't have a VIA chipset, you follow textbook's tutorial on flashing the MS25 with the 0800 disc. I can't help you with the badflash method, as I don't use it.
