First Hello to all. :)
Sory for my stupid question, but this will be may first flash so I must ask
I read all tutorials and I know what to do,but I want to ask one thing-If I don't succeed at first time with the 10sec(after I turn off the Xbox, select drive, wait and turn it on) what shoud I do?I mean if i dont hit the exactly time(If I turn on Xbox sooner or later than it should)...Turn it off again and wait another few seconds(without touching anything)then power on the console,or must press "escape", write again xread and repeat the steps??
This answer i don't find anywhere...

Sorry for my english.

You don't need to hit it exactly, I've probably done anywhere from 8-12 seconds in various flashes because I just count it in my head and it's always worked on the first try for me. Just make sure you have a valid orig.bin before you flash and you should be able to fix any problems that may arise. After the read step I always copy orig.bin to another computer in the house for safe keeping before I even attempt to flash.

If it doesn't go power everything off, reboot into DOS and start with the same step. In other words if you were on xFlash there's no need to go back to xRead, start at xFlash again.

But if it hapen on the xRead step?If I don't hit it exactly when it must read the firmware and make orig.bin ,and it hang or something? :roll:What I must do to try again?

Then obviously you would start at xRead again. And as I said, you don't have to hit it literally EXACTLY at 10 seconds so you can stop obsessing about that. lol

Sorry it's maybe sound stupid  :) ...

One more question  -You mean turn off console, turn off PC and start all over again, right?Or just hit "esc" type xread and etc. (repeat steps)? And on the xread stage in this situation it cannot brick the drive...or it can? :(

Power on your pc and your x360 at the same time having the S-ATA cable plugged into your pc but not your x360. Whenever you get into dos plug in the serial cable into the x360. do Xread and whenever you get to the prompt to choose your controller, which should be xtreme primary i believe you will want to turn off your x360 and after that choose your controller, wait around 10 seconds and then turn the 360 back on and it should automatically dump the firmware. read the tutorials around here as they are very good in detail about explaining the full steps
