Bad flash recovery on liteon not working

Ok so I was flashing a phat lite-on today with jungleflasher and while writing bank 3 it froze and never finished. I thought no biggie it is a lite-on simple to bad flash recover.

I am using a x360usb pro and a ck3 lite to power yet I can not recover from this, here is what I have tried, any thoughts

First followed the tut exactly, start jf, plug in x360usb, power on drive, click intro, power off drive, click yes, power on drive, nothing happens. I have tried power cycling both with the ck3 and with the 3.3v switch, no luck

I then tried to just load up the dummy.bin and the 2.0 firmware and do the lite-on erase again, I get status 0x80 but never get 0x72 it says deivce intro failed. I have power cycled both with the ck3 and the 3.3v switch no luck.

I then tried everything again with the tray half open, again no luck.

very rarely, badflashed lite-ons don't recover with a simple lite-on erase

its often where the flash chip doesn't respond quite right/normally

its usually fixable with the MRA hack

not really

the MRA is the badflash probing for phat lite-ons
(similar to MPX01 probing of other drives)

Since I have the key it is probably cheaper and easier to just get a new drive.

for the sake of fun, try badflash probing MPX01

just like any other drive

intro/device id, power off drive, press yes, probe mpx01, power on drive


let me know what happens
