Bad flash, Xbox turns on and then off

Hi, I have a 1.6a Xbox with a X3 CE installed. For a year I kept the regular X3 bios on the first 1MB bank (bank1234; on on off off) and the second 1MB bank empty.

I wanted to install a linux distro and tried to flash the second 1MB bank with a Cromwell bios. For some reason, the flash failed. Whenever, I try to boot from the second 1MB bank, the Xbox turns on for 1 second and then turns off.

I can still boot fine from the first 1MB bank and play Xbox games, etc but I need to get FlashBios onto the second bank. I dont know how to do this and Im asking for your help. Please dont be afraid to go explain the instructions detailed, I need all the help I can get.

flashbios 3.0.1 works on v1.0 to v1.6 xboxs
flashbios 3.0.3 works on v1.0 to v1.5 and v1.6b xboxs

you allready have flashbios as a backup bank (flashbios 3.0.1 power eject at same time)
if you wish to have it on other banks
boot flashbios backup
change switch setting to ever
Bank 5: on on off on
Bank 6: off on off on
Bank 7: on off off on
Bank 8: off off off on
flash flashbios to any of these banks
to boot to flash bios set to above switch settings
linux will not work well on a v1.6 xbox anyway the screen is cut off and you dont get to see full screen
